Due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases which has resulted in a new stay-at home order by Governor Newsom, Marin County’s Public Health Department has issued an additional stay-at-home order for the county effective December 8th at 12:00 PM. To limit the risk of COVID-19 transmission, all Clerk’s Offices will be CLOSED starting on December 9th for in-person visits. Filings will be accepted by mail or drop box only. Drop boxes will be available from 8 AM – 4 PM in front of 113 and the lobby area of the Court Floor....
If you have been summonsed for jury duty during the month of December, your jury service has been ended. As a result, you will not need to appear for jury duty in the month of December.

On April 6, 2020, the California Judicial Council enacted California Rules of Court Emergency Rules 1- 11. These emergency rules were enacted to protect the health and safety of the public, court employees, attorneys, litigants, and judicial officers, as well as staff and inmates in detention facilities, and law enforcement during the state of emergency related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Jurors who are not feeling well are encouraged to stay home and may contact Jury Services to reschedule their jury duty. You can also postpone your jury duty electronically, by logging into the jury system using your Juror ID and PIN provided to you on your jury summons.
